Queensland Junior Club Championships
What is it?
QJCC is a 3 day tournament hosted by Basketball Queensland for all Queensland-affiliated clubs.
Clubs like outs can nominate teams made up of players from our club (Can be from different RCH teams). From here Basketball Queensland grades our teams into divisions based on the number of representative players we have in teams.
Following the tournament players, coaches and managers of tournament winning teams will all receive a medal.
How are our teams created?
Teams nominated must consist of players registered with River City Hornets and have played at least 5 games within Season 2, 2025. Based on the expressions of interest we receive, coaches will compile teams to nominate.
What is the competition format?
- All teams must be available to play between 8am and 9.30pm each day of the tournament.
- Where possible, each team will be scheduled to play 2 games per day with a minimum of 2 games break between games.
- BQ will seed teams into pools based on the information available from team nominations.
- Draw formats will be available approx 14 days prior to the competition
- Game results and fixtures will be available through Basketball Connect

The 2025 competition will be held from Saturday 13th December to Monday 15th December at Logan, Southern Districts (Carina) and a 3rd venue TBC.
Nominations for players, coaches and managers are required to be submitted via the forms below before 5pm, Friday 19th September.
All teams must have a coach and manager nominated for us to submit the team
